RESIDING IN BEAUTY

Beautiful One

Wonderful so wonderful is Your unfailing love
Your cross is spoken mercy over me
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart can fully know
How glorious, how beautiful You are

Beautiful one I love
Beautiful one I adore
Beautiful one my soul must sing

Your mighty works displayed for all to see
The beauty of Your majesty awakes my heart to sing
How marvelous, how wonderful You are

You opened my eyes to Your wonders of anew
You captured my heart with this love
‘Cause nothing on earth is as beautiful as You

Jesus…
You opened my eyes to your wonders of anew
You captured my heart with this love
‘Cause nothing on earth is as beautiful as You

My Soul, my soul must sing
My soul, my soul must sing
My soul, my soul must sing
Beautiful One
Beautiful One ~Chris Tomlin

Today one lovely Christian person is standing face to face before her Savior and King singing her heart out in praise of Him; her beautiful One. Accidentally she left this world and the loves that she has known and physically touched. A church full of young people with whom she had a mutual love are grieving. Our community of faith will miss her hurried footstep, her constant smile, and her helping hand. There was a comfortable way about her upon entering our fellowship. She has made a permanent place in so many hearts. We share her husband's broken heart.

After taking her final breath in eternity that is counted by time and her first step into eternity of timelessness; she met Jesus and throngs of her family and friends. I wonder, were other members of our church who went ahead of her there to greet her too? Is there a section of heaven reserved for reunions of those who prayed at the same altar? Are they holding her hand and recalling tears of joys and prayers of happiness shared in that holy place where each worshiped in their own era?

There is a sense of timelessness in a sanctuary blessed and dedicated to Holy God, a sense of belonging to a greater family one that stretches back through history and into whatever future God has planned for His church. There is a sense of timelessness when remembering one like this dear Christian; we will think of her as she was, and we will long to see her as she is; for when we see her, we will be like her and on that day we will join together in the "forever" celebration going on around The Beautiful One on His beautiful throne. For now and forever she resides in holy beauty!
Dear one, enjoy!
